Europe’s largest music industry conference and a festival to boot, Eurosonic is all about showcasing new talent (see the endless list below) and it’s taking place from 14th – 16th January 2010 in Groningen.

On Thursday and Friday, Eurosonic presents a broad variety of the best European talent throughout the city of Groningen. With European booking agents, 60 ETEP festivals, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), Yourope Network Europe and supporting the program, Euro Sonic is the most extensive and progressive showcase festival in Europe.

Noorderslag has been the main barometer of Dutch pop music for 24 years and on Saturday, De Oosterpoort Theater presents the very best Dutch bands in every genre, from pop to hip hop and urban music, avant garde, dance, alternative and everything in between.

During the three day event over 100 panels and meetings will also take place, focusing on European music, touring, festivals, the (live) music and media industry developments. The conference also features meetings by: Yourope, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), European Talent Exchange Program (ETEP), The Export Office and European Network Europe
