and film music: from Godard’s sophisticated, jazzy sound in the
sixties, to the edgy, electric tunes of Beverly Hills Cop in the
eighties, and beyond. Program:
21h: Stretch your muscles to the very danceable music of the band Fata ‘EL Moustache Morgana
22h: DJ Bizar will be spinning a handful of records from his vast collection of soundtracks
23.30h – close: Homework DJs will top it all off with some rock solid elektro

A word from the makers:

After 5 amazing years of Rascal shaped indie discos we are very sad to announce Rascal will be coming to an end after our last Club 8 party on the 17th April.

This has been a really hard decision for us as we both enjoy every month and appreciate all the support that we get from everyone who comes out to party with us…however all good things must come to an end.

Although this is sad news there also good news which is that DJ Bx is expecting her first child later this year. A DJ in the making for the indie kids of tomorrow!!

This means that Rascal can’t continue as it is and has been for the last 5 years…..so rather than change something that we love so much the time is to consider new opportunities.

Wait and see where we pop up behind the decks next!!!

Rascal has been a great success in large part due to the people who come out to dance each month so big up and thank you to you all. Lets make the last two Rascal parties amazing nights to remember.

We will be coming up with some special ideas for the last ever Rascal to see it off with a bang! so keep your eye out for more details soon….

To warm-up the Amsterdam crowd of student film lovers some more, Cinestud will host another evening of student film and food in Delicatessen Zeeburg. The films will be a bit funny.

Dinner time 19.30h, film starts at 20.30h. On the menu: quiche and vegetarian quiche. Send a mail to reservations@cinestud.nl if you feel like joining for the grub.
